Crochet doll

This little doll is a quick and easy doll that is perfect for beginners or as a gift. It can be made in under an hour, and the full terms are used, no abbreviations. It can be made with other yarn colours for the hair and skin to personalise him or her. Once created, this makes a delightful gift, and there are clothing and accessories also available, including the purple dress pattern
You will need
Yarn needle
4 MM Crochet hook
Stylecraft special DK in Black, Mocha and Camel
Fiberfill or yarn and fabric scraps
Difficulty- Easy-intermediate
Size- 14cm tall
Pattern
Head and Body
With Camel, chain 2
R1) 6 single crochet in 2nd chain from hook, slip stitch to first stitch
R2) Chain 1, 2 single crochet in each stitch, slip stitch to first stitch
R3) Chain 1, “2 single crochet in stitch, single crochet in next stitch”, repeat from “to” around, slip stitch to first stitch
R4) Chain 1, “2 single crochet in stitch, single crochet in next 2 stitches”, repeat from “to” around, slip stitch to first stitch
R5-7) Chain 1, single crochet in each stitch, slip stitch to first stitch
Begin stuffing head
R8) Chain 1, “single crochet 2 together, single crochet in next 2 stitches”, repeat from “to” around, slip stitch to first stitch
R9) Chain 1, “single crochet 2 together, single crochet in next stitch”, repeat from “to” around, slip stitch to first stitch
R10) Chain 1, single crochet 2 together, slip stitch to first stitch
R11) Chain 1, single crochet in each stitch, slip stitch to first stitch
R12)Chain 1, “2 single crochet in stitch, single crochet in next stitch”, repeat from “to” around, slip stitch to first stitch
R13-17) Chain 1, single crochet in each stitch, slip stitch to first stitch
R18) Chain 1, “single crochet 2 together, single crochet in next stitch”, repeat from “to” around, slip stitch to first stitch
R19) Chain 1, single crochet in 7 stitches, slip stitch to first stitch.
R20-23) Now working in continuous rounds, single crochet in each stitch.
R24) Single crochet 2 together in each stitch, slip stitch to first stitch and fasten off.
Arms
With Camel, chain 2
R1) 4 single crochet in 2nd chain from hook, slip stitch to first stitch
R2) Chain 1, 2 single crochet in each stitch, slip stitch to first stitch
Begin working in continuous rounds
R3-8) Single crochet in each stitch. Fasten off and sew onto body using tail.
Legs
Insert hook into stitch after the last stitch of last round of body, next to the first leg.
R1) Single crochet in each remaining stitch, slip stitch to first stitch.
R2-5) Now working in continuous rounds, single crochet in each stitch
R6) Single crochet 2 together in each stitch, slip stitch to first stitch and fasten off.
Face
Sew a single stitch in black for each of the eyes, in between rounds 5 and 6.
Make the hair by wrapping mocha around your hand, then tying it together using a small length of mocha. Sew onto the head by securing chunks of yarn down with stitches and cut the loop so the hair is long and straight.
Weave in ends.
