Free Crochet Pattern- Super Simple Washcloth | Cherry and Crochet Designs

Super Simple Blue Washcloth

This washcloth is an ideal first project for beginners, using only one stitch and the pattern uses no abbreviations, only full terms. It could be made with any double knitting yarn, and an ideal way to use up tiny scraps is by making it stripey. Not only is this eco friendly, but also frugal and would make an ideal gift for someone, especially if paired with a luxury bar of soap or hand cream. It could be used as a facecloth, body cloth, cleaning cloth or washing up cloth. It is so versatile that you could make a big set of them and give them out at Christmas. They take around 30 minutes each to make, depending on how quickly you crochet.

You will need
4.5mm crochet hook
Double knitting yarn in colour of your choice (or multiple if you are making it stripey)

This super easy and quick cat toy is sure to be a hit with your furry friend! It can be made with very little yarn and the whole thing takes around 30 minutes to make, depending on how quickly you crochet. It can be made with any double knitting yarn, the small amount needed lending itself to using up yarn scraps, making it eco friendly as well as frugal. It is perfect for supervised play with your cat or kitten, and would be an easy, last minute gift to a pet owner. The final product is small, it can fit into the palm of your hand when squashed and therefore practical for those with a small space that still want their fur baby to have a fun toy for playtime.

Baby pink and baby blue double knitting yarn
4mm or G crochet hook
Yarn needle for weaving in ends
