Free Crochet Pattern- Snow White Inspired Doll Bikini/Underwear set | Cherry and Crochet Designs


18-Inch Doll Snow White Bikini

Made to fit an 18-inch doll, such as American Girl, Our Generation, Designafriend or Journey Girl, this doll Snow White themed bikini/underwear set is a quick, beginner-friendly project, that makes a perfect gift for a child with a doll, perhaps alongside other doll clothing pieces from my Ravelry store or blog. The set can be finished in an hour, making a great last minute gift.

You will need 
4 MM Crochet hook
Stylecraft Special DK in Citron and Royal and scraps in Matador and White
Yarn Needle
Stitch Marker
Scissors

Difficulty- Easy
Size- To fit 18 inch doll

Pattern
Bottom
With Citron Chain 15
R1) Single crochet in second chain from hook, single crochet in each stitch to end
R2) Chain 1, single crochet in each stitch
R3-7) Chain 1, single crochet 2 together in first stitch, single crochet in each stitch, single crochet 2 together in last stitch
R8-12) Chain 1, single crochet in each stitch
R13-17) Chain 1, 2 single crochet in first stitch, single crochet in each stitch, 2 single crochet in last stitch
R18) Chain 1, single crochet in each stitch
R19) Chain 1, single crochet in each stitch, fold the piece in half and single crochet around so the edges are joined up, slip stitch in first stitch. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Top Panels (Make 2) With Royal Chain 21
R1) Single crochet in second chain from hook, single crochet in each stitch
R2) Slip stitch in 5 stitches, single crochet in 10 stitches, turn
R3-8) Chain 1, single crochet in each stitch. Fasten off and leave a long tail for assembly.

Underarm straps Chain 12
R1) Single crochet in 2nd chain from hook, single crochet in each stitch
R2-8) Chain 1, single crochet in each stitch. Sew the underarm straps on corners of the second panel. Weave in ends.

Shoulder Straps
With White Chain 36
Slip stitch to back piece, slip stitch 11 chains, slip stitch along top edge, slip stitch remaining chains and slip stitch to corner of back piece. Weave in ends

Bow
With Matador Chain 7
R1) Single crochet in 2nd chain from hook, single crochet in each chain
R2-3) Chain 1, single crochet in each stitch. Fasten off
Gather the centre and sew 3 stitches to permanently gather it. Stitch onto middle of front piece. Weave in ends.
