Free Crochet Foxes Baby Beanie | Cherry and Crochet Designs

This baby hat is sized for newborns and can be created in under an hour. While producing an impressive baby beanie, it is easy to create, utilizing a chart to demonstrate the colourwork. With little foxes on a pale cream background, this baby beanie is an ideal gift for a newborn baby and is very easy to create. It requires only a small amount of yarn, meaning you can use up scraps and create a beautiful present. It would also make an ideal project to make and sell, or give as a gorgeous baby shower gift. 

You will need
Yarn needle
4.5 MM Crochet hook
Stylecraft Special DK in Lemon, Spice and Black

Difficulty- Easy-intermediate
Size- 12cm x 10cm (To fit newborn)


Pattern

With Lemon chain 3
Round 1) 15 double crochet in 3rd chain from hook, slip stitch to first stitch. (15)
Round 2) Chain 2, 2 double crochet in each stitch, slip stitch to first stitch. (30)
Round 3) Chain 2, “2 double crochet, double crochet in next stitch” repeat around, slip stitch to first stitch. (45)
Round 4) Chain 2, double crochet in each stitch, slip stitch to first stitch. (45)
Round 5-10) Follow chart below, carrying yarn strands and repeating the pattern 7 times. Use lemon for the remaining stitches of each round, then slip stitch to first stitch, then chain 2, then continue following the chart again. ( Round 5 is the bottom, round 10 is the top, so you work from the bottom up)

Round 11) Chain 2, single crochet in each stitch, slip stitch to first stitch. Fasten off and weave in ends (45)

Hair Scrunchie Crochet Pattern

These crochet hair scrunchies are so easy and soothing to make and would make a perfect project to sell or give as a gift. They can be made using small scraps of yarn and reused hair bands. Suitable for beginners, they can be made in around 10 minutes per hair tie. As seen in the picture, they can be made in any colour, or even a mix of colours. You will need
Yarn needle
4.5 MM crochet hook
Old hair band or 2 elastic bands
Approximately 8 grams DK yarn

Difficulty- Easy

Pattern
Chain 1, slip stitch around the hair band or elastic bands.
Treble crochet 200 times into the hair band, don't worry if it is a little more or a little less, as long as the band is completely covered, it's fine.
Fasten off and weave in ends.

It is suitable for beginners, and no abbreviations are used. It requires a small amount of yarn, meaning you can use up scraps and create a beautiful present. It would also make an ideal project to make and sell.
You will need
Yarn needle
4.5 MM Crochet hook
Stylecraft Special DK in Grape and Citron

Difficulty- Easy-intermediate
Size- To fit 3-6 month baby

Pattern

With Grape chain 3,
Round 1) 15 double crochet in 3rd chain from hook, slip stitch to first stitch.
Round 2) Chain 2, 2 double crochet in each stitch, slip stitch to first stitch.
Round 3) Chain 2, “2 double crochet, double crochet in next stitch”, repeat around, slip stitch to first stitch..
Round 4) Chain 2, “double crochet in stitch, chain 3, skip 2 stitches” repeat around, slip stitch to first stitch.
Round 5) Chain 3, double crochet in 1st stitch, “single crochet in next chain 3 space, 3 double crochet in next double crochet”, repeat around, single crochet in last chain 3 space, 2 double crochet in last double crochet, slip stitch to first stitch.
Round 6) Chain 1, single crochet in 1st double crochet, “chain 3, skip next 3 stitches, single crochet in next double crochet”, repeat around, slip stitch to first stitch.
Round 7-13) Repeat round 5-6
Round 14) Chain 2, double crochet in each stitch, slip stitch to first stitch. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Flower
With Citron, chain 3
Round 1) 2 double crochet in 3rd chain from hook, chain 2, slip stitch in 3rd chain from hook, “chain 2, 2 double crochet in 3rd chain from hook, chain 2 slip stitch in same chain” repeat for a total of 5 petals

Pattern
Chain 3,
Round 1) 15 double crochet in 3rd chain from hook, slip stitch to first stitch.
Round 2) Chain 2, 2 double crochet in each stitch, slip stitch to first stitch.
Round 3) Chain 2, *2 double crochet in one stitch, double crochet in next stitch*, repeat around. Slip stitch to first stitch.
Round 4) Chain 2, *2 double crochet in one stitch, double crochet in next 2 stitches*, repeat around. Slip stitch to first stitch.
Round 5) Chain 2, double crochet in front loops only, slip stitch to first stitch.
Round 6) Chain 2, double crochet in same space as chain, *skip 1 stitch, 2 double crochet in next stitch,* repeat around, slip stitch to first stitch.
Round 7-11) Chain 2, 2 double crochet in each space, slip stitch to first stitch. Do not slip stitch on last stitch of round 12.
Row 12) Chain 2, turn, 2 double crochet in each space.
Row 13-14) Chain 2, 2 double crochet in each space. Round 14 only-Slip stitch to first stitch. Fasten off and weave in ends.
